I am Deaf. My only income is Social Security. I use the VRS and VP. I cannot afford the High Speed Broadband but have no choice. The VRS and VP is my only way to have equal access. The cost of living keeps going up and my income keeps getting cut. I wish to have it but cant afford it. (Elite) My ntouch VP is not clear (blurred and fuzzy) and I need High Speed. Is there any programs for the Deaf/Disabled that can afford me a lower rate? Your consideration and intervention on my behalf would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
Most Deaf people are facing the same situation they are facing because of the massive cuts to SSI. (there will be another cut in July 2012)
