Your video is a tad misleading. Yes, the FCC proposed a ‘One Provider Per User’ in their 11-184 NPRM. But, that was in the context of providing per-user compensation. Under this proposed per-user compensation scheme, allowing VRS consumers more than one provider amounts to waste. (To some extent, I have a disagreement with them on this point.)
If the FCC were to maintain the current status quo of per-minute reimbursement, VRS consumers would be free to choose one or more providers. This is because the total minutes for that consumer would not change substantially across a number of provider(s). (See Paragraph 79 of 11-184 NPRM.)
That all said, I generally agree with your sentiment that VRS consumers should freely choose one or more providers to meet his/her VRS/VP needs for home, work, and mobile calling.
Thanks, Cousin Vinny.
I am not sure why you think it’s tad misleading. I haven’t addressed per-user compensation yet. However, I plan to go over per-user compensation in several vlogs later tho’. Maybe we could revisit this after you check with per-user compensation vlog in near future.
Bear with me as I’m trying to finish up captioning the rest of vlogs as quickly as I can.
Again, thanks for leaving the comment. I truly appreciate this, really am.

If FCC go ahead with the one choice VRS provider THEN all VRS equipments such as vp200,nvp, z150,z20,p3,ojo, etc MUST be operable to each other. As of now that is not happening. I have z150 and the only that is not working with z150 are vp200 and nvp as sorenson choose to be a closed network would be a problem for the new rule by FCC. I agree to keep the freedom of choices of any providers.
One more thing- did FCC say anything about period of time to be with one provider? like 2 years or one year? Like a contract with your cell phone?
